I’m not vain enough to think that everything that falls from my Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard will be a golden pearl but perhaps cumulatively there will be a bit of value that exists here.

As we get older in life, (and believe me .. I am old), we realize that we are all the same. I know that we say that a lot but if you think about it it’s true  We are all a product of our culture as well as the dribs and drabs thrown in by parents, educators and television. All of us are preprogrammed to respond to certain stimulus the same.

(Don’t believe me? Try this … Take a book or a pen or a newspaper (remember those?) and hand it to someone and just say “here”.  That’s  all don’t embellish. Just say “here” and wait…  holding the item out towards the person.  Unless you look like Freddie Kruger you have about a 99.8% chance that they’ll take whatever you hand them. )

Still don’t beleive me then please go read someone elses blog because so much of what you are about to learn is predicated on this basic human trait of compliance. The simple fact that we all want to be like everyone else. Even the oddballs, freaks and  weirdos are just trying to fit in. The insurance industry makes money off the fact that as a group humans are predictable. Actuaries predict outcomes reliably due to our behavioural programming.

So this point being made & before we get to far into this I’d like to establish two more points:

1. Nobody will do anything that is counter to their basic belief system (So you don’t have to worry about brainwashing anyone)

2.We are not trying to cheat anyone, Your service or product is the best isn’t it? (If it isn’t then quit trying to market it and go improve it. No really do it now… then come back.)

OK now that we are on the same page it’s time to stop .. for now.
